Stone settings
A stone that moves in the setting is not a cleaning job. The rest of the note is how we do that in the studio.
If you can shift the stone with a fingernail, stop wearing it. Send a photograph with the inquiry. A bezel hides the edge. A claw shows it, and a claw is what catches a sleeve. Check claws when you check the clasp.
Wiggle is a repair. Polish will not tighten a claw.

A stone that moves in the setting is not a cleaning job.
Closed settings need less watching than claws.
A bezel hides the edge. A claw shows it, and a claw is what catches a sleeve. Check claws when you check the clasp.
Stone settings is a note from the studio, not a rule for every house. The pieces in this edit were finished with this habit in mind.
If a piece you have does not match the note, send a question with the name of the piece. The reply is more useful than a general rule.
An inquiry is the way to ask. Nothing on this page is a charge.
Keep the habit small enough that it happens. That is the care these pieces were made for.
