Pearl storage
Pearls want a cloth, not a jumble of clasps. The rest of the note is how we do that in the studio.
A strand crushed in a box develops a kink you cannot shake out. The silk is the part that fails first. A ring or a chain in the same compartment will mark the surface. A soft pouch is enough.
Store a strand flat, or hanging, so the silk does not knot.

Keep pearls away from harder metal.

Pearl storage is a note from the studio, not a rule for every house. The pieces in this edit were finished with this habit in mind.
If a piece you have does not match the note, send a question with the name of the piece. The reply is more useful than a general rule.
An inquiry is the way to ask. Nothing on this page is a charge.
Keep the habit small enough that it happens. That is the care these pieces were made for.
