Throw wash
Wash a linen throw the way you wash a shirt. The rest of the note is how we do that in the studio.
A hot wash sets creases you did not want and can shrink the width. The fringe should be straightened while it is damp. A different fold is a different crease. One fold keeps it looking like the same cloth.
Cool water, and dry it so it can be shaken.

Fold it the same way each time.

Throw wash is a note from the studio, not a rule for every house. The pieces in this edit were finished with this habit in mind.
If a piece you have does not match the note, send a question with the name of the piece. The reply is more useful than a general rule.
An inquiry is the way to ask. Nothing on this page is a charge.
Keep the habit small enough that it happens. That is the care these pieces were made for.
