Table clearance
Leave a path around the table, not only room for the chairs. The rest of the note is how we do that in the studio.
A table that fills the room is a table you cannot use. Measure the path with a chair pulled out, not pushed in. A thick apron under the top lowers the space for knees. Ask for that measurement if the top height looks right but the seat feels tight.
Chairs need to pull out. People need to walk past.

Table clearance is a note from the studio, not a rule for every house. The pieces in this edit were finished with this habit in mind.
If a piece you have does not match the note, send a question with the name of the piece. The reply is more useful than a general rule.
An inquiry is the way to ask. Nothing on this page is a charge.
Keep the habit small enough that it happens. That is the care these pieces were made for.
